They were designed and built by Space Systems/Loral (SS/L). PanAmSat-6 (PAS-6) provides quality digital television to customers in South America.
PAS 6 was lifted into orbit during the mission ‘Ariane 44P | PAS 6’, on board a Ariane 44P space rocket.
