Gaofen 3 is the first medium-sized and long life (8 years) civil satellite of China. The satellite is a C-band Synthetic Aperture Radar capable of up to 1m ground resolution.
GAOFEN 3 was lifted into orbit during the mission ‘Long March 4C | Gaofen 3’, on board a Long March 4C space rocket.
