Associated space launch

The satellite will provide satellite internet to North America, parts of South America, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic Ocean. Eutelsat 172B is a communications satellite featuring a C-band, a Ku-band and a high throughput payload and all electric orbital raising. It is to reside in 172° East, where it will provide coverage of the Asia-Pacific.
