Gaofen is a series of Chinese civilian Earth observation satellites. These three satellites are to be operated together with the Gaofen-1 satellite, which was launched in 2013.
GAOFEN 1-04 was lifted into orbit during the mission ‘Long March 4C | Gaofen 1-02, 1-03 & 1-04’, on board a Long March 4C space rocket.
The launch took place on March 31, 2018, 3:22 a.m. from Launch Complex 9.
