It provides global, survivable, protected communications capabilities for strategic command and tactical warfighters operating on ground, sea and air platforms.
AEHF 4 (USA 288) was lifted into orbit during the mission ‘Atlas V 551 | AEHF-4 (USA 288)’, on board a Atlas V 551 space rocket.
